Clerk II (holding the functional title of Executive Assistant) in the Academic Advising and Scholarships Office of the Registry (Ref.: 531587) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance).

 

Applicants should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree, with 2 years’ work experience preferably in tertiary institutions.  They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; the ability to work independently, good time-management, communication and problem-solving skills, and IT proficiency, especially in MS Excel.  They should also be good team players and be attentive to details.

 

The appointee will provide administrative and clerical support to the operation and promotion of scholarships and prizes.  He/She will be expected to handle enquiries, scholarship applications/renewal and payments, liaise with students as well as internal and external stakeholders, coordinate events, perform system entry and other duties as assigned.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview. 

 

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
