Senior Technical Officer in the HKUMed Laboratory of Cellular Therapeutics of the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 531683) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Biopharmaceutical Engineering or related subjects, with at least two years’ relevant work experience in equipment and utility management, construction design and engineering, and equipment installation. Candidates with strong knowledge of GMP Lab’s operations, cleanroom system compliance, and extensive hands-on experience in the design and construction engineering of cleanroom/utility systems and biosafety measures for biological products will be given preference. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese and strong computer skills are prerequisites.
The appointee will assist in GMP license application and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in cleanroom systems and equipment. They will provide technical support for the design, construction engineering, and maintenance of cleanroom systems to meet GMP requirements, liaise with regulatory bodies and suppliers, manage engineering/equipment procurement, and offer technical guidance on cleanroom system operations.
