Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 531685) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Biological/Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Clinical Medicine or a related discipline, with at least 3 years' research experience and extensive knowledge in biomedical sciences. They should have relevant track record in conducting and/or handling projects related to infectious diseases research. They should also have a strong sense of responsibility, good organizational skills, good leadership and interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team. The appointee will involve in research projects related to emerging infectious diseases under the supervision of Prof. Jasper Chan and Prof. Hin Chu.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
