Research Assistant I/II in the Bau Institute of Medical and Health Sciences Education (Ref.: 531805) (to commence as soon as possible for 12 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

We invite applications for a motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join a dynamic team focused on advancing interprofessional education and practice, as well as teaching and learning innovations in health professions education. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful research that bridges theory and practice in healthcare training.

Ideal Candidate:

  1. Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in education, health sciences, psychology, social sciences, or a related field;
  2. Experience in academic research (e.g., data analysis tools, qualitative coding, survey design) is preferred.
  3. Demonstrates strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills, and a strong sense of responsibility;
  4. Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese); and
  5. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Those with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered as Research Assistant II.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in designing, implementing, and managing research projects;
  2. Conduct literature reviews, qualitative/quantitative data collection, and analysis;
  3. Support manuscript preparation, grant writing, and dissemination of findings through conferences and publications.
  4. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth project implementation;
  5. Coordinate project logistics and stakeholder communication; and
  6. Fulfill other duties as assigned.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
