Administrative Assistant II/Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Senior Manager/Manager) in the Asia Case Research Centre, Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 533661) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, with the possibility of renewal subject to performance and mutual agreement.)
The Asia Case Research Centre (ACRC) is a research centre affiliated with the Faculty of Business and Economics at The University of Hong Kong. The ACRC is committed to the advancement of learning and teaching in business education and strives to promote leading management thinking through research on the latest practices in the Asian business environment. We work with scholars from universities and institutions within and outside the region, and enjoy close ties with the business community.
Applicants should hold a master’s or higher degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Economics, or a closely related discipline, along with at least three to nine years of proven experience in a position involving staff supervision. Familiarity with the Case Teaching Method in business education, as well as strong research, writing, and organizational skills are required. An excellent command of written English is essential, and native-level written Chinese is an advantage. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and interviews. Applicants with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered as Executive Officer.
The appointee will be responsible for building trusted senior-level relationships with faculty, case writers, and business leaders. They will work closely with faculty to develop case studies aligned with the curriculum of the Faculty of Business and Economics, manage the case development process, and edit case studies.
