Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Academic Support and Examinations Section of the Registry (Ref.: 534322) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, or a recognised Associate Degree/Higher Diploma with 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. They should possess good organisational and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team, and be capable of working effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Applicants should also be self-motivated and attentive to details. Fresh university graduates with a good academic background will also be considered.
The appointee will assist in the administration of the University’s examinations, provide administrative and secretarial support to committees, including arranging meetings, preparing meeting papers, and managing student data, and perform other duties as assigned. He/She may be required to work irregular hours to meet operational needs. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
