Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 534627) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years’ full-time work experience in office administration, event management, institutional advancement, consultancy, communications or public relations with leading institutions. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good organisational, communication, project management and problem-solving skills; a high level of computer proficiency, and the ability to work independently and under pressure. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
The appointee will support the Faculty’s facility located in Central, including the development and implementation of comprehensive engagement strategies and programmes, as well as events and alumni activities. He/She will liaise and coordinate with alumni, the business community and other stakeholders; formulate and implement marketing and communication initiatives to strengthen the relationships between alumni, the business community and the Faculty; and perform other duties as assigned. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends.
