Clerical Assistant in the Centre for Advancement of Chinese Language Education and Research (CACLER) within the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 534739)
We are looking for a Clerical Assistant to join the Centre for Advancement of Chinese Language Education and Research within the Faculty of Education to provide administrative and clerical support to the Centre.
The Role
The appointee will provide clerical and administrative support to the project team, including liaising with schools and teachers, preparing fieldwork materials, coordinating schedules, supporting project activities (e.g., interviews, training workshops, etc.), managing documentation and records, supervising part-time helpers, handling enquiries, and performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Qualities
Applicants should possess a minimum of 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (at least Grade C under Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007), and Mathematics; OR a minimum of Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSE, including English Language, Chinese Language, and Mathematics, with relevant work experience. They should have good command of written and spoken in Chinese (Cantonese) and English; IT proficiency skills, including MS Word and MS Excel; good interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to attend to details. They should be self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility, and able to work independently as well as in a team. Priority will be given to those who have work experience for educational projects in tertiary institutions.
