Senior Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 534851) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess either (a) 5 passes in HKCEE or min. Level 2 in 5 subjects in HKDSEE, with at least 5 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in tertiary institutions, OR (b) a recognized degree or diploma. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, IT proficiency including MS Office and Chinese Word processing, and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. They should be a good team player, reliable, self-motivated, attentive to details, and able to work independently and multi-task efficiently. Preference will be given to those with a high level of computer/IT literacy. Knowledge of basic graphic design will be an advantage.
The appointee will mainly provide day-to-day clerical support to the HKU Health System, the umbrella executive arm overseeing and supporting the LKS Faculty of Medicine's clinical enterprises. Major job duties include:
- handle financial matters, including procurement and the maintenance of expenditure records;
- provide daily clerical support, such as maintaining inventories of equipment and medical consumables;
- provide information desk services on a rotational basis, supporting patients and coordinating medical appointments with HKUMed clinical faculty members;
- compile service output reports and perform basic data analysis;
- assist with human resources related matters;
- schedule and coordinate meetings; and
- perform other duties as assigned.
