Senior Project Officer (Student Affairs) (at the rank of Clerk I) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 534953) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of the basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess:

  • a recognised Bachelor’s degree, preferably with 2 years of relevant work experience in student affairs, or in the field of hospitality or facilities management;
  • a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin);
  • good interpersonal and communication skills to handle inquiries professionally;
  • proficiency in MS Office applications;
  • the ability to prioritise multiple tasks efficiently and work independently as well as in a team; and
  • a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.

Demonstrated experience in student engagement as a student leader and/or staff, with a genuine interest in enhancing student services and enriching campus life, would be preferred.

The appointee will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Oversee frontline operations, ensuring smooth daily service delivery;
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support for student’s services, programmes, events, and activities;
  • Manage student amenities, including venue bookings, facilities coordination, maintenance follow up, and related logistical and housekeeping arrangements;
  • Liaise with students, internal departments, and external stakeholders in a professional, efficient, and service-oriented manner;
  • Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of projects and initiatives as assigned;
  • Perform any other duties as assigned to meet operational and project requirements; and
  • Work outside normal office hours, including evenings and weekends, when necessary.


Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
