Project Officer (at the rank of Research Assistant I/II) in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention within the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 536401)

Duties and Responsibilities

•        Assist in implementing youth mental health projects deliverables to ensure timely, professional implementation.

•        Handle enquiries from stakeholders

•        Compile academic and non-academic reports

•        Organise and provide administrative and logistical support for trainings, events, activities and dissemination related to youth mental health projects

•        Prepare promotional materials and content for websites, social media, and brochures

•        Provide fieldwork support

•        Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Social Work, Psychology and Education or equivalent and at least 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Responsible, Self-motivated, able to work independently and multi-tasking, work under tight schedule as well as in a team
  • Knowledge on mental health, quantitative or qualitative skills is highly desirable.

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
