Manager, EMBA Marketing (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref: 536407) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree, with at least 5 years of proven experience in marketing, communication, media or a related field. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken Mandarin and English. They should be well-versed in new media strategies and content creation with exceptional writing skills and proven video production experience. Applicants with experience as a financial journalist will have added advantages. They should possess organisational, project management and problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask under pressure, work well both independently and in a team, as well as work with people from a broad range of backgrounds internally and externally. Applicants with less than 5 years of work experience will be considered for lower-level positions.
The appointee will support the Faculty’s EMBA Marketing Team in planning, developing and implementing marketing strategies, social media contents and events for brand promotion. Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• writing social media content, including but not limited to event news, recaps, in-depth interviews with professors/entrepreneurs and business analysis and adapting content across different platforms such as WeChat, RedNote, LinkedIn, etc.;
• working independently or with vendors to produce videos, including filming and post-production;
• developing social media strategy, planning and managing the content calendars for multiple social media platforms;
• contributing to event planning and execution, handling copy and video-related preparation, coordination, implementation and delivery; and
• supporting daily operations and undertake other duties assigned by the Faculty.
He/She will work at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus, and flexibility to work overtime or on weekends when required is expected. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
