Clerical Assistant in the School of Chinese (Ref.: 536639) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007) and Chinese (Level 2 from 2007), OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language and Chinese Language with at least 2 years’ relevant work experience. They should also have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua), strong proficiency in MS Word and Excel, good customer service skills, a high sense of responsibility, and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels, work independently, and demonstrate self-motivation and diligence.
The appointee will assist with daily office operations, including supply management, clerical and logistical support, event coordination, and counter services, as well as perform other duties as assigned. Occasional off-campus work and responsibilities outside normal office hours, including weekends and public holidays, may also be required.
