Senior Executive Assistant, Communications and Public Relations (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 537067) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
 
Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related disciplines, with 2 to 3 years of experience in communications, social media marketing and public relations. They should have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua. Applicants should be good team players with excellent communication, and organisational. They should also demonstrate a proactive, can-do attitude and a strong eagerness to learn. Hands-on experience with WeChat Official Account and Xiaohongshu (RED), along with other social media platforms, will be an advantage. Less qualified will be considered as Executive Assistant. Fresh graduates with a good academic background will also be considered.
 
The appointee will assist in implementing PR and marketing activities. The appointee’s responsibilities include but not limiting to:
 
• providing administrative and execution support to the team in planning, coordinating, and implementing broader communication and promotion initiatives (e.g., PR and events, digital marketing, branding projects);
 
• assisting in video production, from planning and shooting support to basic editing and asset management;
 
• assisting in managing the Faculty's Mainland social media channels, including the WeChat Official Account and Xiaohongshu (RED);
 
• organising seminars, events, and press conferences, including handling logistics and coordination;
 
• developing engaging content and assisting in managing social media platforms, including preparing content, monitoring activity, and responding to posts;
 
• assisting with media inquiries and conducting daily media monitoring;
 
• preparing press collaterals and promotional content across various platforms, including print and online publications, websites, and social media;
 
• closely liaising and coordinating with internal departments and external parties to ensure smooth operations and effective project management; and
 
• assisting with general administrative tasks and undertaking ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned by the supervisors.
 
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
