Nurse (holding the functional title of Research Nurse) in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 537266) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and be registered with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong. Relevant experience and/or interest in clinical research, project coordination, or working in NGOs or with individuals with disabilities would be highly preferred. They should demonstrate strong clinical skills in health assessment, chronic disease management, and functional rehabilitation, along with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese) is required. Familiarity with digital health tools (e.g. wearable devices) and IT systems are considered advantages.
The appointee will work for the “Jockey Club Health Programme for Adult Persons with Disabilities” under the supervision of Professor Kelvin Wang. He/She will assist in liaising with internal and external parties to implement the project, provide direct nursing care and health monitoring for participants, coordinate and support health-related interventions, assist in care planning, conduct health education, and perform other nursing-related duties as assigned.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed-term basis will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
