Part-time Student Affairs Assistant I (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Careers and Employability of Centre of Development and Resources for Students (CEDARS) (several posts) (Ref.: 537298) (to commence as soon as possible for up to 12 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability).
Applicants should possess a Higher Diploma or Associate Degree preferably in Statistics, Mathematics, Social Sciences or related disciplines. They should be well-organised, responsible, flexible, attentive to detail, able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work under tight deadlines. A strong numerical sense, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) are essential. Experience in survey research support, database management, statistical software, or statistical report production would be an advantage.
The appointee will support the implementation of survey research projects, including the Graduate Employment Survey and Employer Survey. He/She will assist in the survey system testing and administration, publicity and promotion activities, data collection, data verification and cleansing, report preparation, and statistics updates. The appointee will also engage in graduate employment support and outreach initiatives, communicate with recent graduates to collect and update employment information and maintain accurate records in the graduate employment database, assist with daily office operations, and perform other duties as assigned. Occasional work outside normal office hours may be required to support operational and project needs.
