Applications are invited for appointment as Administrative Assistant I/II in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 537314) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary for Administrative Assistant I and 10% for Administrative Assistant II, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good university degree, preferably a Master’s degree with at least 10 years' relevant administrative, management or team leadership experience, preferably gained in a tertiary institution or public-sector organisation. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua. They should be mature, meticulous, self-motivated, and collaborative team players with strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills. They should also be able to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and demonstrate initiative in handling a wide range of responsibilities. A strong commitment to service excellence and team goals, together with excellent inter-personal, time-management, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities, is essential. They should also possess a professional work ethic and a high level of computer literacy. A good understanding of the business field in the higher education sector, along with the ability to build partnerships will definitely be an advantage. Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Administrative Assistant II.

The appointee will play a versatile role to support the administration and execution of the Faculty's initiatives, undertake special projects and perform any duties as assigned by the Dean or his delegate(s). Work outside office hours and on weekends may be required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.
