Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Surgery
Applicants are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow under Department of Surgery, to commence as soon as possible for up to two years, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering, biomedical sciences, bioengineering, materials science, or a related discipline, with experience in hydrogel biomaterials, cell culture, tissue engineering, or 3D bioprinting. The appointee should be organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team. The appointee will be involved in hydrogel bio-ink development, cell-laden and multicellular 3D bioprinting, vascularized tissue-model construction, cell culture, and biological and mechanical characterization of engineered constructs. Experience in rheology, confocal microscopy, immunofluorescence staining, SEM, mechanical testing, and image analysis will be an advantage.
