IT Officer in the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 500569) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal, subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia, Information Technology or related discipline with at least 5 years’ hands-on work experience in web, multimedia, graphic design and production. Proficiency in using multimedia softwares such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere and After Effects is required. They should have a proven track record of experience in web and graphic design; and knowledge of printing, digital media and video shooting. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese); be responsible, mature, organised and attentive to details.
The appointee is expected to produce graphic design artwork and multimedia/printing contents; assist in website production and development; photo-taking, editing and video production; and perform other tasks as assigned. Shortlisted candidates may be required to provide a portfolio of their past multimedia work for consideration by the selection panel.
