Research Assistant I/II in the Division of Behavioural Sciences of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 507955) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or above in public health, nursing, health psychology, social science or other related disciplines. They should be interested in behavioural health, behavioural interventions, health promotion and/or health communication. They should have a good command of English and Cantonese, good interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, a strong sense of responsibility, and a hard-working attitude. Experience in conducting survey, behavioural interventions or qualitative interviews, competence in analysing qualitative and quantitative data, and good computer skills will be advantages..
The appointee will assist in research projects on sustainable food consumption and other health-related projects for promoting public health. He/She will assist in testing study instruments, recruitment of participants, development of psychological and behavioural interventions, data collection, data analysis, and other duties as assigned. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview.
