Full-time/Part-time Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 508702) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in public health, social sciences, or related disciplines, with at least 3 years’ experience in mental healthcare or operating local mental health hotlines. Registered clinical psychologists and social workers are preferred. Knowledge of mental health services in Hong Kong, and experience in crisis management and working with emotionally challenged individuals will be advantages. Applicants should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese) and good communication skills. They should be responsible, mature, and calm in stressful circumstances. Those with less experience may be appointed as Research Assistant I/II.

The appointees will assist the team in conducting mental health assessments and providing support to study participants who exhibit signs of distress. Irregular working hours will be required.
