Applications are invited for appointment as Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the School of Computing and Data Science (Ref.: 530202), to commence on July 1, 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The School of Computing and Data Science (CDS) strives to advance education and research across the fields of computing and data science, artificial intelligence, statistical decision sciences, fintech, and actuarial science. It aims to take an integrated approach to reform these academic disciplines and foster multidisciplinary research collaboration within the University and beyond. Requirements

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a strong commitment to excellence in research and teaching and proven qualities of academic leadership.  A solid track record with outstanding and internationally recognised research achievements is essential.  The positions are open to all research areas in Computer Science, preferably in the areas of AI Security, IoT/AIoT Security, Digital Forensics, Data Privacy, Data Analytics & Technologies, FinTech, Metaverse, Computing & Big Data Systems, or Theoretical Computing.

What We Offer

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
