Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) or Clerical Assistant in the Faculty of Education (Ref: 536353)
We are looking for an Executive Assistant or Clerical Assistant to join the Faculty of Education to provide administrative support to the Technology and Infrastructure Development Office.
The Role
The appointee will provide administrative and clerical support to the Technology and Infrastructure Development Office; coordinate facilities maintenance with the Estates Office and service providers; assist in office relocations and renovation projects; assist in supervising a team of Office Assistants and Cleaners; and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Qualities
Applicants should possess at least 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007) and Chinese (Level 2 from 2007); or minimum Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language and Chinese Language, and 1-2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in tertiary institutions. Applicants should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); good organizational, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills; and hands-on experience in English and Chinese word processing and PC applications (such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). They should also be good team players who are self-motivated, attentive to details, and capable of working independently. Those with lower qualifications or less experience may be considered for appointment as Clerical Assistant.
What We Offer
The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
