Research Assistant I (holding the functional title of Project Coordinator) in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 499827) (to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Nursing, Social Sciences, Psychology, Counselling, Statistics or healthcare-related disciplines, preferably with experience in research and/or counselling. They should be familiar with quantitative research methods, self-motivated, and able to work independently and in a team. They should also have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including fluency in Cantonese) as well as good communication skills. The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator, Dr. William Li, in coordinating ongoing research projects on addictive behaviours; conducting fieldwork and follow-up; performing data analysis and drafting reports. He/She will also perform any other duties as assigned. Irregular working hours will be required occasionally.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
