Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the Department of Chemistry, to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or other relevant disciplines. Preference will be given to those with a strong background and research experience in organic synthesis or organometallic chemistry. They should be responsible and able to work independently as well as in a team. They should also have good analytical skills and a good command of English and Chinese. The appointee will work on a project to develop novel organometallic OLED emitters, under the supervision of Professor C. M. Che.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
