Research Assistant II in the School of Humanities (Comparative Literature) (Ref.: 501951) (to commence as soon as possible for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in any Humanities/Social Science discipline, preferably with a Master's or M.Phil. degree in comparative literature, Asian studies, film studies, or a related field. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English. Additional language proficiency would be a plus. This post also requires some research or library experience as well as computer skills. The appointee will be heavily involved in research activities related to the establishment and operation of an academic journal or book series dedicated to inter-disciplinary (Humanities and Social Science) work on critical theory, globalization, cultural studies, and comparative literature. He/She will also assist with other research activities of the department and faculty, as well as other tasks as assigned.
