Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Microbiology (Ref.: 503880) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline. Practical experience with RT-PCR, sequencing, and other basic molecular biology would be advantages. Applicants should also have a strong sense of responsibility, good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and work independently and collaboratively as a team. The appointee will be involved in cutting-edge research projects related to rat hepatitis E and COVID-19 under the supervision of Dr. Siddharth Sridhar.
