Part-time Graphic Designer (at the rank of Student Research Assistant) in the Department of Psychiatry (Ref: 508668) (to commence as soon as possible for one-year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should be undergraduate students with an excellent command of written English. They should have Level 5* or above in English Language in HKDSEE, B or above in Use of English in HKALE, 5 or above in English Language in IB, or equivalent. Those who major in design or architectural design are particularly welcome. Applicants should have knowledge of and experience in creative software such Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD and Flash. Knowledge of video production and website design is preferred but not a must.
The appointee will join the Psychosis Study and Intervention (PSI) Research Team which focuses on understanding how the human mind could under some conditions enter into a psychosis state, and how best to help people afflicted with psychotic experiences. The appointee will assist in developing creative concepts, layout and artwork for various platforms such as websites, academic books and posters based on the guidance and requirement given by Professor Eric Chen.
