Senior Research Assistant / Research Assistant I in the Faculty of Business and Economics (several posts) (Ref.: 526712) (to commence as soon as possible for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should be at the master or doctoral level with majors in Social Sciences, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or related disciplines. Applicants should possess several skills in the following: writing academic proposals, literature review, data analysis (Stata/SPSS), web scraping, Python/R, QGIS, proficiency in written Chinese, and understanding of Hong Kong politics. Applicants do not have to possess all skills; hiring decisions depend on proficiency of individual skills, experience, and complementarity with the skillset of other research assistants. Selected applicants may be given short tasks to demonstrate skill competence.
The appointee will work on multiple academic and policy research projects.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
