Clerk I/II (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant/ Executive Assistant) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 527149) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics; OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language and Chinese with at least 5 years’ relevant work experience; strong communications, organizational and problem-solving skills; as well as an appropriate level of IT skills.  They are also expected to have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision; and a good sense of tact in dealing with sensitive and confidential issues, including discreet handling of personnel and confidential files.  Previous work experience in tertiary institutions or possessing a Bachelor’s degree would be advantageous. Those who have a recognized Bachelor's degree may be considered for the position of Clerk I. The appointee with a Bachelor’s degree may be offered the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant / Executive Assistant.

The appointee will provide organizational and administrative support to senior administrators of the Faculty Office/Deanery/School of Clinical Medicine in various areas, perform duties in general office administration, provide support to meetings and events, as well as perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview. Those who have responded to the previous advertisement (Ref.: 526703) need not re-apply.
