Executive Officer in Research Services of the Registry (Ref.: 537073) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability).

Applicants should have a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of work experience, preferably in tertiary education institutions or other public organisations.  They should also be able to work independently, have good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), good organisational and interpersonal skills, computer literacy, and preferably experience in event coordination, committee servicing and the use of AI tools at work. 

The appointee will provide administrative and operational support for a wide range of research-related initiatives and activities, including research ethics administration, research grant administration and other research support functions.  He / She will be responsible for coordinating research-related events, processing research ethics applications, providing committee servicing support, and performing other duties as assigned.  Experience in research administration at tertiary institutions would be an advantage.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
